Local Fairs Support Volunteer Fire Departments Over the summer, people from near and far came to Locke to enjoy rides, cotton candy, and good hometown music for the Locke fair. On Saturday, the fire trucks lined up with the Girl Scouts and groups in between to share with the community all of the different flavors of the area. Fireworks were lit into the night and swings hung in the sky until early Sunday morning when the carnival staff began packing up for the road.
